Design

Make no mistake, this is a beautiful desktop. It comes with a nice color scheme, and the build is also very solid. It resembles the iMac more than it should, but to see it as a problem is up to you. The stand is made of aluminum and is a sturdy one. It holds the desktop well, but that’s pretty much all you get. There is no height adjustment or swiveling. You can only tilt the display to suit your view.

The keyboard and the mouse are neat additions. They work well and nothing more to say in that area. You can find the power button and the important ports on the back side of the desktop. Overall, this is an attractive design that looks and feels great.

The display here is a 23.8-inch LED-backlit display with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The display is one of the biggest selling points of this desktop, and that is with good reason. Here, we have the discrete Nvidia GeForce GTX 950M that comes with a dedicated memory of 1GB. You might get your doubts here, but this is a pretty good graphics card. You can play some really good games like Rise of the Tomb Raider, Just Cause 3, Fallout 4, and many others without any problems.

For storage, we have a hybrid drive in place. The drive comes with 1TB of storage and 8GB of solid state drive space. This is better than the regular hard drives and gives you the speed you need when accessing your favorite folders and files. The hard drive comes with Windows 10 installed on it and that’s the best you can get right now.

The audio experience deserves a mention as well. The ASUS Sonic Master premium does a good job. There are six speakers that give you excellent sound output. This helps in consuming multimedia to its fullest.

There are a lot of ports at the back. You get 1 USB type c ports, 4 USB 3.0 ports, 1 USB 2.0 ports, 1 HDMI port, 1 media card reader, and 1 LAN port. The desktop also offers support for 802.11n and Bluetooth connectivities.
