Design

The desktop comes with a nice redesign. This is slimmer than its predecessors, and they even call it the slimline series. As a result, the desktop is not that massive as before and will take a lot lesser space. It does weigh around 13.1 pounds, so be sure not to move it very often.

Coming to the front, you have a couple of USB ports, a media card reader, a headphone jack, and an optical drive. You can find the remaining ports at the back. The spotted design gives it a premium look without any doubt. This new design language is impressive, and that is more than just looks.

You don’t get a monitor with this PC. You have to get your own one. Browse our monitor section and find a monitor that meets your requirements.

HP 450-010 Specs

The HP Pavilion 450-010 powered by an Intel Core i3 processor. This i3 4170 processor is a 4th gen Haswell-based chip that clocks at 3.7GHz. This processor can run the operating system and other basic third party applications without any problems.

You can even demand some power from this processor when you need to run some high-end apps like Simulators, compilers, and other apps. This i3 processor is also pretty good for gaming and along with Intel HD 4400 graphics card, you can play some of the best games right now without any problems (might have to reduce the settings, though).

You get a 4GB memory that can help with your multitasking. You can run multiple apps at the same time without having to worry about the performance. As the processor comes with Intel’s Hyperthreading, you can run multithreaded applications without any lag in speed. You can upgrade the memory in the future as it is user upgradeable.

For a light or even a mid-range user, 1TB is a lot of space. You get a 1TB 7200RPM hard drive that gives you an excellent storage space for all your games, videos, movies, songs and other stuff. The speed is also pretty decent which is pretty cool as well.

The operating system you get installed on the hard drive is Windows 8. This is not the most favorite OS for anyone by any means. You can upgrade to Windows 10 for free without any issues. It might take some time, but the process itself is simple and straightforward. With a load of new features, the upgrade is absolutely worth it.

The desktop supports 802.11b/g/n connectivity and also comes with a couple of USB 3.0 ports. There is also an Ultra slim tray super multi DVD burner that can be useful at times. You will find all the connectivity options you would want to see in a desktop that is a good thin.
