The new Dell Inspiron 3646 i3646-1600BLK is an entry-level desktop from the house of Dell. If you are a light user, then this is possibly the cheapest deal you can get with decent specs. This entry-level desktop PC is mainly targeted at people who need a simple machine for their day to day activities.

Design

There is nothing new in the design. It takes the old classic dell cabinet which has been around for some years now. The good thing about that is that it is a proven design. Even though the cabinet is kinda small, there is space for ventilation at the sides which keeps the PC from getting too hot.

The power button is located in the front and everything else can be found at the back. The ports are easily accessible as well. An advantage with this particular design is that it is lighter than most of the desktops out there. It just weighs around 11 pounds which is great for a computer.

Hardware

The connectivity options include the 802.11b/g/n wireless and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. There is a tray load DVD drive which can read and write DVDs for you.
