iPhone 4S unveiled today and here's the 411.
Finally after a morning of anxiously waiting for the new iPhone to be unveiled, we got to see that it's a iPhone 4S.
So what's new?
- iMessage: a chat app that is similar to Blackberry Messenger, which works on any device with iOS5. Unlimited SMS/Chatting over a 3G/wi-fi connection.
- Siri: Apple's new voice recognition software. Add calendar events, ask it to define words, set alarm clocks, etc.
- Notification Center: a central place to view all your messages, calendars, events, missed calls etc.
- News stand: all-in-one place for your magazine and news subscriptions.
- Reminders: helps remind you of the things you need to get done with the use of the GPS.
- Twitter integration: you can now tweet right from photos, safari, etc.
- Better Camera: 8MP camera with 1080p Recording capabilities
- Faster: Running Apple's A5 Processors that has been running on the iPad.
- Added photo features: Crop, remove red eye, rotate, etc. right from 'Photo'
- iCloud: Sync all your information to the cloud and receive on any Apple device.
- Safari: Enhanced web browsing with iCloud integration.
- PC Free: Activate your iPhone right out of the box. Forget plugging it into your computer.
As you can see there is a lot of new features waiting to be played around with on the iPhone 4S. Now the question is, when can you get your hands on it? Here are the deets:
The iPhone 4S will come out in Black and White.
Pricing: 16GB for $199, 32GB for $299, and 64GB for $399 (new capacity).
Pre-orders start on Oct 7 and it will be available on Oct 14.
