Samsung Electronics launched the Samsung S2 Portable External HDD, with SuperSpeed features on-board USB 3.0 interface and 7200RPM spindle speed, giving faster performance than previous versions.
SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface offers a maximum transfer speed of 5Gbps, compared to 480Mbps USB 2.0. Additional features include Dynamic Balancing technology low vibration, low noise technology and NoiseGuard SilentSeek Samsung S2 contained in this.
Samsung S2 comes loaded with Samsung Auto Backup, SecretZone and SafetyKey for data encryption and password protection.
