Design
This model comes with a color scheme of black and red with the sides being transparent. It takes the conventional cabinet style, and there is nothing unusual about the design. There are a couple of ports and a pair of jacks in the front, and that’s great for accessibility.
The keyboard and the mouse are neat. This is way better than the standard offerings you will find in other desktops. The desktop is also not that heavy so you can move it around without any problem.
Another thing to note is that this setup doesn’t include a monitor. You can look at out monitor section and find one that is suitable for you if you haven’t got one already.

The iBuyPower AM-FX05R desktop is powered by an AMD FX 6300 processor that clocks at 3.5GHz. This is a hexa-core processor that can be compared with an i5 Intel chip from the Haswell generation. It has a PassMark score of 6,343 which is pretty decent. You can run any game and applications with this AMD chip. If you are looking for sheer power, this processor will provide you just that.
There is 8GB DDR3 memory for memory here. This is a decent amount of memory for gaming and will be enough to run most of the modern day games. Apart from gaming, this memory can also help you with work as well. You can multitask the hell out of your PC and get things done faster and efficiently.
If you think you need more RAM, you can alway upgrade it easily as since this is a desktop. So we really don’t believe that this RAM is a deal breaker in any way.
Let’s talk about the one thing that matters in a gaming machine, the graphics card. Here we have a Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 graphics card with 2GB of dedicated memory. This is a graphics card that is made of mid-range gaming machines, so don’t expect too much out of it.
But it can deliver. You can run most of the recent games in medium settings with excellent frame rates. This list includes titles like FIFA 16, Metal Gear Solid V, GTA V, Evolve and other similar games. This GPU is also perfect for online games as well.
The hard drive is a spacious one with a capacity of 1TB. This is a lot of space for all your games and other valuable stuff. The only problem here is that the speed is a little slow for a PC in this age. They should have included at least a 128 gig solid state drive to increase the performance.
Windows 10 is the operating system in the iBuyPower AM-FX05R model. This is the latest operating system from the house of MS, and it is one finished product. People have been loving this OS till now and the fact that it was announced as a free upgrade helped. If you liked Windows 7, then you will love this new version of Windows.
The connectivity department is well sorted out. You get all the essential ports you need and the device also supports wireless internet connectivity 802.11a/c that is great if you want to eliminate wires in your place.
