Design

The design looks very different from what we’ve seen in gaming desktops. It is bold and comes with a number of zones (3 to be exact) that can be customized for user experience. It is not too big and can be easily placed in any part of your computer. And, as it comes in a matte black color, it will fit in nicely.

There are two internal fans that help in heat dissipation. The passive thermal design makes use of the natural convection and keeps the desktop cool and quiet at the same time. Overall, a neat design which will appeal to you if you are looking for something other than ordinary.

Asus G20AJ-US009S Specs

The Asus G20AJ-US009S is powered by an Intel Core i7 processor. This i7 4790 processor is a Haswell-based processor that has four cores. It clocks at 3.6GHz and can do more when required with the help of turbo boost. This processor might be a couple of generations old, but it still is one beast of a chip.

You can run any games on this machine, thanks to the sheer power this processor brings in. Even running high-end apps is a smooth experience. The 8GB memory in the RAM slots support this processor in a good way and make sure that you get the best of both.

For a gaming desktop, eight gigs of RAM is enough. It allows you to play your favorite games while keeping the price low. Multitasking is also possible if you want to be more productive. You can also upgrade the memory in the future if you need some. They are pretty cheap these days and upgrading it yourself will cost you even less.

The graphics card in the Asus G20AJ-US009S desktop is a Nvidia GeForce GTX 760. This is a desktop graphics card and comes with impressive benchmark scores. You can enjoy playing most of the recent games without any issues. You might have to reduce the settings, but you can still play which is more important. For games like WoW, LoL, and other ones, this GPU is s perfect fit.

For storage, we have a 1TB hybrid drive that comes with 8GB of SSD storage. This is a cool drive as it brings in both space and also the speed improvements we hope for without increasing the cost a lot. The drive comes with Windows 8.1 pre-installed in it. This is not the best for Microsoft, but you, at least, have the option to upgrade to Windows 10 for free, and that’s great.

One of the minor issues here is that there is no monitor included. You will need a good gaming monitor, and you will have to get it separately. Keeping this monitor issue aside, you get a wired gaming keyboard and a gaming mouse. These are pretty good, and you will be impressed with their performance. There is a good list of connectivity options as well. There is also support for AC WiFi, which is pretty neat.
