Design

The Acer XB270HU bprz is a well designed gaming monitor. The circular stand at the bottom is solid and sturdy. It holds the monitor without any wobbling. The bezel on the side of the display pretty thin and doesn’t take up a lot of space.

The monitor can be tilted to your needs. You can also convert the horizontal monitor to a vertical one and this will be of great use for programmers and website designers. The device weighs around 23 pounds which isn’t too heavy for a monitor this big. It is also VESA compliant meaning you can mount it on the wall if you want to.

The response time is another important spec that affects the picture quality. Here we have a response time of 4ms. This along with the refresh rate makes a very good duo and as a result the pictures are very clear without any ghosting.

The Acer XB270HU bprz gaming monitor comes with a G-Sync ASIC module. This is an adaptive refresh rate technology and is an excellent feature. What it does is that it syncs your monitor’s refresh rate to the GPU’s frame rate to the maximum refresh rate of your monitor.

If do have the control over this. If you do not wish to use this G-sync functionality you can turn this off via the Nvidia control panel. It is a very good feature though.
