Motorola released earlier this year in May 2016, the Moto g4 Play as a phone for the new adopters of smartphones — and for the people who are looking for a solid, well rounded, budget entry level device.
This Moto g4 feels like a mid range phone with the premium feel case design and the 5" HD LCD screen, all coming in for only the price of a budget phone at $249 with Wind Mobile.
Inside has a powerful Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 410 processor with a quad-core CPU and 2 GB of random access memory (RAM) – pretty good for running many apps without any problems.
Now if you've been a loyal user and fan of the Moto G line, you know how well Motorola builds these phones. You'll be certain to find comfort in knowing that they have done it again. It's an amazing phone in our opinion.
There's also a step up Moto g4 Plus model with a larger screen and a finger print scanner.

You'll see from the photos below that the quality of the 8 MP camera is very good. Pictures turn out clear and crisp.
And now here are some Macro shots to demonstrate how much detail the camera can capture. The results are fairly good!
Battery Life
With a 2800 maH battery, the phone seems to last a full day without charge in real-world settings. We've tested the phone off the charger at 8:30 am to back on at 11:00 pm with 30% of charge remaining with normal use (texting/calling/social media).
These results will vary on how often you use your phone and what type of applications you use that could drain more battery power.
