Apple says 'Let's talk iPhone' on October 4th
It's official.
Apple has announced (with the very simple invite picture from above) to the media that the big unveiling will take place at Apple's Cupertino headquarters starting October 4th 2011 10 A.M. PT for the first time. Steve Jobs won't be there, but a new iPhone will: the invitation reads 'Let's talk iPhone'.
With all the weeks of rumours and speculations on the internet about the launch dates, we can finally put them to rest. You can expect that Apple fans around the world are gearing up for this one big event that makes Christmas look like a dwarf.
Now we still don't know if Apple is going to launch the iPhone 5, iPhone 4GS, or both? for now it's unclear. But it'll be very interesting to see Tim Cook, Apples new CEO, lead the unveiling this year. Will he have the same oohs and awes from the audience? Is he going to come out on stage with a black turtle neck and blue jeans? Only time will tell.
