Hercules Smartbook eCafe EX HD and HD eCafe Unique Slim Battery Hold Up to 13 Hours

Hercules name smartbook manufacturer has introduced a new type smartbook eCafe EX HD and eCafe Slim HD with 10.1-inch screen that provides long battery life and mobility. This couple is different from the netbook because they run the ARM Cortex A8 processor and light customization of the OS Linux. This combination helps eCafe EX HD can last up to 13 hours of battery life and boot time instant from standby only 4 seconds.

Hercules eCafe EX HD 1.1-inch thick and weighs 2.4-pounds. In the center there are 10.1-inch screen with a resolution 1024x600x able to play 720p video. ARM Cortex A8 processor made by Freescale used with clock 800MHz and paired with 512MB of RAM memory. Storage is provided in iNAND 16GB capacity flash memory. In addition there is an additional 3 USB ports, SD / SDHC card reader, HDMI output, and support for 802.11n Wi-Fi. Various file formats are supported by this smartbook and HD EX comes installed with OpenOffice applications and browser software Firefox.Sedangkan eCafe Slim HD, only able to hold 4.5 hours of battery life with a configuration similar to the HD EX, and has a smaller battery and capacity iNAND only 8GB of flash memory. However, the body is relatively thin with only 0.8-inches thick and weighs just 1.9-pounds. This slim Smarbook also have access to social networking sites that are always on and features pre-installed software the same and support the various kinds of files such as HD EX.

Both smartbook can be synchronized with your Windows, Linux and Mac OS X uses a separate software called eCafe Sync can be downloaded from the website Hercules. Both are also equipped with instant messaging application compatible with Windows ® Live, Yahoo ®, AIM ®, Google ® Talk.

Both smartbook Hercules available this April with HD eCafe price of $ 269 and EX Slim eCafe HD to retail for $ 229.
